Katsutoshi Yuasa (b. 1978, Japan) was educated at the Musashino Art University and continued to attain an MA Fine Art and Printmaking from the Royal College of Art, London. Yuasa's work has been exhibited widely globally since the year 2000 - select solo exhibitions include: Open Studio, Pro Artibus, Tammisaari, Finland, Beyond Assumption, INTHEGALLERY, Copenhagen, Denmark, The landscape behind words, Gallery YUKI-SIS, Tokyo, Japan in 2012; The Imaginary, Corn Exchange Gallery, Edinburgh, Scotland and Mythologies, ASPN Gallery, Leipzig, Germany in 2011; Open Atelier #8109, Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris, France, Solo Projects at TAG Fine Arts, SCOPE Basel, Basel, Switzerland, Natural Incidents, Edinburgh Printmakers Gallery, Edinburgh, Scotland, Woodcuts : Depth of monochrome, NAX Gallery, Tokyo Japan and Shots of Immanence, ASPN Galerie, Leipzig, Germany in 2009.  Select group shows include: SUMMER EXHIBITION 2012, Royal Academy of Arts and East Wing X, The Courtauld Institute of Art, both London, England in 2012; back to the future, Hollander York Gallery, Toronto, Canada in 2010 and Evolution of Print: Artist of Kala, Oakland Museum at the Oakland International Airport, Oakland USA in 2009.

Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris, France and Kala Art Institute, Berkeley USA in 2008 and Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam Netherlands in 2006.  He has been a lecturer at Masushino Art University, Tokyo since 2011. Yuasa lives and works in Tokyo.
